# Seedream 5.0 Pro

> Generate or edit one image with ByteDance Seedream 5.0 Pro at 1K, 1.5K, or 2K

## Seedream 5.0 Pro

Seedream 5.0 Pro is ByteDance Seed's multimodal image generation and editing model, built for text-rich layouts, infographics, realistic scenes, and precise regional edits. One model key covers both modes: omit `image_urls` for text-to-image, or provide one reference image for image-to-image editing.

Each request produces one image. Generation is slower than lighter image models, so poll `/api/v1/task/status` with a relaxed interval.

### Request parameters

| `resolution` | No | `1K` (default), `1.5K`, `2K` (case-insensitive) |
| `output_format` | No | `jpeg` (default) or `png` |

Seedream 5.0 Pro does not accept `n`, `batch_size`, `size`, or `watermark`. Send more than one reference image and the request is rejected with a validation error.

Submit to `POST /api/v1/task/submit/seedream-5-pro`. Save the returned `data.task_id` and poll `/api/v1/task/status`.

  Each request produces one image. `1.5K` costs the same as `1K`. `aspect_ratio`, `output_format`, and the reference image do not change the price. `/pricing` remains the current source of truth.
