Seedream 5.0 Pro

Seedream 5.0 Pro is ByteDance Seed’s multimodal image generation and editing model, built for text-rich layouts, infographics, realistic scenes, and precise regional edits. One model key covers both modes: omit image_urls for text-to-image, or provide one reference image for image-to-image editing. Each request produces one image. Generation is slower than lighter image models, so poll /api/v1/task/status with a relaxed interval.

Request parameters

Seedream 5.0 Pro does not accept n, batch_size, size, or watermark. Send more than one reference image and the request is rejected with a validation error.

Submit to POST /api/v1/task/submit/seedream-5-pro. Save the returned data.task_id and poll /api/v1/task/status.

Each request produces one image. 1.5K costs the same as 1K. aspect_ratio, output_format, and the reference image do not change the price. /pricing remains the current source of truth.
